Maryville is 14.4 miles from the center of Knoxville. Its nearest neighboring area is Alcoa, 2.2 miles away; Farragut is next at 13.5 miles. That puts Maryville on the outer side of its closest pairing rather than the inner one — the practical effect is that a bit more lead time helps if a job needs a part ordered in rather than pulled off a shelf.
None of that changes what happens once the car's actually on the lift — Maryville gets the same shop, same techs, same process as anywhere else on the map. It just means the distance is worth thinking through before the tow truck gets called, not after.
Why does the rating matter for a drive this long?
A trip from Maryville is a real drive, not a quick errand, which is exactly when a shop's track record matters more than the miles. Knoxville Auto Repair carries a 4.9 rating from 56 reviews — check it against a couple of closer options before deciding the extra distance is worth it.
When's the best time to book a Maryville appointment?
The shop runs Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, closed Sat–Sun. Since Maryville is one of the farther stops on the map, calling a day or two ahead — rather than same-morning — gives the shop time to track down a less common part before the car's even on the lift.
Is Maryville too far for a small repair?
Not for anything that needs real diagnostic work, but a 14-mile round trip is a lot to spend on something a closer shop could just as easily handle. If it's routine maintenance, that's a fair question to ask before booking.
How far is Maryville from Alcoa?
About 2.2 miles — the shortest hop between any two areas on the map, though it doesn't change how a Maryville appointment gets booked or handled.
Do reviews really matter for a shop this far away?
They matter more, not less — 4.9 from 56 reviews is easier to verify than a shop's promises over the phone. Read a few before committing to the drive.
